We believe that most physical and mental diseases find their root cause in our diet (Anna) or are psychosomatic (Mann) in nature. Traditional organic farming provides us clean, safe food; Additionally, when organic produce is cooked in copper utensils, earthenware using ancient macrobiotic techniques the result is tasty, nutritious food that gives us sound physical and mental Health.

GUNA encourages a holistic lifestyle by conducting macrobiotic food workshops and working with farmer producer organisations that include over 650 rural farmers from Afghanistan and different states of India such as Ladakh , Kerala , Goa , Uttarakhand to promote eco positive eating by marketing handmade organic products ( organic dried fruits , coldpressed oils , handmade almond face and body scrub, seabuckthorn squashes etc).

Recently introduced Solar technology in Eco-Model village Takmachik which includes portable and low cost solar dryers for hygienic and efficient post harvest management of organic produce. Along with encouraging use by free distribution of low cost and portable solar cook boxes for 67 families of eco model village that will save 536 Kg of LPG in a month and guarantees 250 sunny days of usage in a year.

We are partners with SAVE FOOD initiative of UNFAO and the Global environment facility as well. Our work is well recognised internationally and covered by media.
